Punishments
In today's society, we are all expected to conduct ourselves in a responsible and respectful manner towards others. However, when we break rules or act inappropriately, there are consequences that follow. Punishments are designed to hold individuals accountable for their actions and help them learn from their mistakes.
This page will describe four common forms of punishments: verbal warning, warning, kick, and ban. We will explain what types of behavior may result in each of these punishments, and what they mean in different contexts. From minor offenses to major violations, this page will provide an overview of the various levels of punishment and the reasons behind them.

Verbal Warning
A verbal warning is a non-logged moderation issued in-game. Examples of this would be not having a uniform on or using a default livery. If is constantly receiving verbal warnings for the same reason then it may be raised to a logged warning at the staff member's discretion.
#
Warning
A warning is a logged moderation issued in-game, this is logged via the ERM moderaor panel. Warnings are for moderate rule infractions not worth of a kick. Here at SoCal we do not follow a 3 warnings equals a kick system, instead it is at the staff member's discretion wether a warning must be escalated.
#
Kick
A kick is removal from our server, this means that the user is disconnected from our server and has to wait 30 minutes before rejoining. A kick would be administered for something such as evading staff or a priority violation. Once you kick a user, you must log it via the ERM moderator panel.
#
Ban
A ban is permanent removal from our server, if a user is banned, they can no longer join the server. Bans can be administered by Administrators and are for serious infractions, such as mass random deathmatch. Once you ban a user, you must log it via the ERM moderator panel. Temporary bans may not be administered under any circumstances.

Punishment Regulations
A punishment can be upgraded from a Warning to a Kick in some circumstances, as a Moderator, you have discretion over what punishment you pick for what reason. Before you choose to kick someone for something like Random Deathmatch, consider, if they open a report on you, would you be in the wrong? Make sure you're thinking about this before you moderate a user.
