Punishments
This document outlines all punishments that can be administered within our Discord Server, these punishments can be issued by using certain commands with Circle (exceptions to Verbal Warning). This page is deemed to be a resource for Discord Moderators to reflect on the punishments that can be administered under certain circumstances. Please follow the punishment guidelines below whilst issuing punishments, if you have any questions or concerns about this page, contact a high ranking staff member.
Utilization Notice
As of January 2026 we now utilise the bot Circle Premium for all Discord moderation actions.
Verbal Warning: A verbal warning is a verbally said warning, this is for minor first time infractions, like someone accidentally posting commands in general. This is not logged and is just a reminder of our rules.
Warning: A warning is issued via our moderation bot, Circle. You would run the command !warn and would log a warning against a user, this is for somewhat minor infractions that don’t deserve a mute or kick.
Mute: A mute is issued via our moderation bot, Circle, like above. You would run the command !mute and timeout the user via the bot, this means that the user cannot post messages or interact with the server until the time is up. Mutes are for repeated minor infractions.
Kick: A kick is removal from our Discord Server, this removes them from the server and means that they have to rejoin if they want to come back. Kicks are administered for severe actions, these are logged by our moderation bot, Circle.
Softban: A softban is essentially a kick that purges all your messages, a softban bans you (to delete all your previous messages) and unbans you, so you can rejoin. Softbans are for semi-severe actions, such as spamming in general, this would delete all their messages and kick them from the server.
Temporary Ban: A temporary ban is issued for a variety of things, usually severe actions such as no intent to be a functioning member of our community. Temporary bans are administered by our moderation bot, Circle, and are logged via Circle.
Ban: A ban is permanent removal from our server, if a user is banned, they can no longer join the server. Bans can be administered by Administrators and are for serious infractions, such as NSFW content, DM advertising and so on. Bans are administered by our moderation bot, Circle, and are heavily monitored by Internal Affairs+.
